If you have read other books on picking up women, then this book has pretty much nothing new to offer. If you've never read any other book on picking up women, then this may help you.
Based on the great reviews on Amazon, I was interested in reading this book to see what sort of "comprehensive" information the author could add to the already burgeoning PUA (pick-up artist) material available out there. I am no pick-up artist, but I am always willing to work on myself and attain new information that will help me in my life. However, this book was a big disappointment. As I read through each section, I could clearly see that this author had merely ripped off his predecessors such as Mystery with his original The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed and Neil Strauss (Style) with his bestseller The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists.
The first half of the book is pretty much just "fluff" (filler). The author gives you some tips on style, grooming, and what women tend to look for. But nothing here is groundbreaking or original.
The second half of the book is the actual "method" for picking up women. And as I have stated earlier, the author pretty much just copied, verbatim at times, the Mystery Method. He even uses the same terminology that Mystery came up with such as Indicator of Interest, Demonstrating Social (Higher) Value, etc., etc. The book goes through each stage of the pick up, but the author does not clearly break down each stage and explain the progression and flow that is necessary in attracting women as Mystery has done.
Overall, the product is still good in and of itself as the Mystery Method, or the Venusian Arts, was groundbreaking and effective for many people when it first came out. Since it's based on the original work, there is no point where the author steers the reader in any wrong direction. If you have never read anything else on picking up women, and this is the only book you are going to get, then this should help you just fine. However, if you want the original and more comprehensive version of this method, check out The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed and his new website at venusianarts. Or if you've read anything by Mystery or by other well-known pick up artists, then this book does not have much to offer.

Not sure what else I can add, but this book helped me out tremendously. I grew up in a small town and didn't have a lot of experience with the wide variety of women in the world. I always had girlfriends... it was a small town... but when I moved and went to college I found I was a little out of my league. Drinking seemed to smooth the path, but I didn't always get the girl I was wanting.
I bought this book and a few others and read through them over the course of a week. I still refer to some of the other books, but this is my real go-to book. It's easy to read and easy to find the information you're looking for. I liked that I could quickly read/skim through it and then get back to the most important (to me) sections without having to re-read an entire chapter.
The information goes from simple to a little complex, but it all makes sense and in time I think I'll be able to put it all to use. What I really wanted to learn was how to approach a group of women and then end up with one of them at the end of the night - A Game taught me how to do it. I also had some problems with opening my heart up too soon and scaring girls away. A Game taught me how to keep my feelings in check and give me tips on other topics to talk about to keep things fun and lively.
Those were my sticking points... not anymore. I have somen new sticking points, but I can already tell that between this book, The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists, and The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed, I have what I need to break through them.
I highly recommend this book...

I bought this for my two brothers... both younger. I saw it in a bookstore and I wasn't intstantly offended by what I read, which was the reaction to the similar books I picked up.
My brothers didn't have any male role models growing up, so even though they turned out great, they were brought up to be very respectful to women. That's great, but it wasn't doing them any wonders with girls and having girlfriends. That's why I bought this book.
So now they read it and every day I get the "Is it really true that women..." thing and I'm positive its something one of them read in the book. Surprising to me, they're throwing a lot of insight my direction - stuff they were completely clueless on just a few months ago. Once we talk it through, they take it to heart and now I'm seeing a big difference in how they act when we go out.
Basically they've gained a lot more confidence and now I can talk them into walking up to girls and talking to them. This was impossible not that long ago! They were way too shy and mubling and didn't know how to hold themselves.
I take some credit, but the A Game gave them a lot more to chew on than I have time for. They're getting a lot out of it, more confident, excited to meet new people, "loving their single life" as it says in the book.
My bros are 22 and 20, so this was the right time for them to "man up". I'd say any guy who wants to overcome any shyness and grow a pair, this is the book to do it. Apparently there is some advanced stuff on "closing the deal", but they haven't gotten to it yet. I hope not to be offended, but so far, classy book even if its about getting into a girls pants... cause hey, we like the attention and affection as long as its done right!
Great guide, everything I should have thought of (but didn't) December 11, 2008
Excellent perspective, covers all the bases. Had read some of the other manuals and a few online resources regarding how to meet, greet, and charm women, but this one is my favorite.
Comprehensive, plenty of material covered in an easily digestible format (read: not too much slang, but some familiar terms in case you've read The Game or other books on the topic)
Speaking of format, my only complaint is that there's a LOT of information in here. Topping 400 pages, it's a sizable book. That being said, I was happily surprised by plenty of the advice and points throughout the book.
Great book, comes in handy, read it cover to cover and still flip through to review. Highly recommended.

Great book. I was about to spend a few hundred bucks on a Double Your Dating DVD program, but I'm going to skip it. Compared to the other books I have on pickup/seduction, this one is the best and probably the least expensive. I hope my best friend gives it back to me...
