It was funny, but not liked I predicted. Some of the stories I could relate to. However, it does open your eyes to see how we as "Christians" act inside and outside of the church and how "Non-Christians" or "sinners" perceive us. We must do better if we are going to win souls to Christ. I recommend this book.

IT HAPPENED IN CHURCH is a collection of humorous stories and anecdotes that have either happened to or been observed by various people in the church community. Too often, people take the whole religious experience as being nothing but serious. However, humor can even be found even in the body of Christ.
Whether it's the pastor, a church member or just the casual observer, these stories confirm that even God has a sense of humor. Not to discount the status of many of the celebrities that relay some of these stories, humor can be found in the relating, no matter who the author is.
The one thing that I really enjoyed about this book is the fact that with the telling of each story, a scriptural fact is also included. This book confirms that you can be a Christian and have a sense of humor too.

I have not received this book, which was shipped 8/22/08, therefor, I cannot give an honest review of the book

It was an 'ok' read, the format and writing were good but there was not one thing that made me laugh out loud - a smile now and then and that was basically it. It's better to buy a used copy or on sale.
