I just got this book and am only half way through it. But I just wanted to let you know that it is an EXCELLENT book for any wife and/or mother who is passionate about the Lord and desperate to serve Him in the home. I have been encouraged so far and can't hardly wait to read the rest of it! :o)
F.Y.I. It is written assuming the reader is a Christian and there are many quotes from the Bible. That being said, I think ANY wife/mother would benefit from reading this book.

Housewives Desperate for God share everything with frustrated and confused women of this time that I would like to tell them plus more and in a better way. If you take this book serious you will find great freedom in your relationship to God, your husband, family and those around you. Relax, you are not on a treadmill. Truly enjoy life to the fullest and read it.

This was a wonderfully written book. If you are considering SLIGHTLY about ordering this book - DO IT! You will be glad you did! It gives new insight into a godly wife and mother! It has inspired me and renewed my devotion, and reminding me that I need to turn to the Bible in ALL instances! Great read, I highly recommend it!!!

While I have thought that women should submit to their own husbands for a long time now, this book reminded me to watch my daily walk. It is so refreshing to see authors stand up for what the Bible actually teaches. To take it literally and not "dumb down" Scripture. Thank you, thank you for your bold, beautiful book. I hope for all of the women who have been raised by Christian feminists, this will open your eyes to the beauty and truth of Scripture. My own experience is this: In the beginning of our marriage I wanted the control. My husband was a tad passive, so I took the reigns and ran. Our marriage suffered and it wasn't until God showed me in His word, that no matter how passive my husband is, I needed to obey God and submit to my husband. Our marriage has blossomed and my husband is now actively taking leadership and I have been truly blessed. What I'm saying is that these authors know what they're talking about, because they're following God's Word. Be blessed by this book. It has truly been helpful for me.
