Such a great book! January 5, 2009 I am not an avid reader, so for me to read a book it really has to get my attention early. This book is an easy read and keeps you thinking, even after you thought you had it figured out. This is a must read, even if you don't like to read!
Don't bother December 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would definitely not recommend this book. Very easy read-I read it in about 2.5 hours. This book seems more like a marketing ploy than a novel . It is poorly written and I believe is the type of book to appeal to people who rarely if ever read books. I didn't know about the christian agenda that the author had previously to purchasing it, but if the book was well written, it would not have bothered me.
If you are looking for a very light read, then check it out from the library, but don't expect much.
It could have been great... December 23, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The premise to the book was interesting and the development of the book was also quite well done. The ending was disappointing causing me to feel that the book was a waste of time. I pick up a book based on what plot descriptions and bits read from the book rather than relying on any newspaper review or other reviews. Actually, I didn't realize it was on a 'best sellers' list or so highly rated here online. I'm sure this book will be/is an fantastic read for some, but I felt it was definitely not up to the hype it receives. I'm not sure I'd race to other books by the author, but who knows?

Such a heartwarming book. Completely kept me engaged, and was very easy to read. Great story and great characters. I loved that this book showed some of the messiness of love and life, but still kept it clean and wholesome in terms of what the reader hears.
Not as great as I hoped December 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It honestly wasn't what i expected and wanted it to be. It is not a cute love story so beware!
