Another Great Book by RC Sproul!!! October 15, 2008 This book is full of great points and great truth for those that are into Christian Apologetics. Its easy to read and has a lot of interesting topics that are good for life applications and also to bring up at the dinner table or a gathering. I read this book on a plane from MD to MI, to the Philippines.....I couldnt put it down!!!
Great apologetics! July 25, 2008 This is a great tool for defending the faith. After reading the arguments, it takes more blind faith to not believe in God than to believe in Him. I would reccommend this book to anyone, and I do.
Nothing new or special September 3, 2007 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book is about convincing the moderate believer to become a more extreme believer. If you're looking for rationalizations to support an existing belief, this book is for you. If you're looking for practical evidence to support belief, look elsewhere. This book glosses over the questions of skeptics.
Colloquial Apologetics April 3, 2003 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
Sproul's accomplishes two things with this book. He manages to instruct Christians into the dilemmas of their faith while at the same time providing a way for them to be able to refute the objections skeptics pose to their religion. All of this is done in fairly colloquial language which augments the validity and credibility of the book: Christians have good answers for the tough questions and they are able to verbalize them clearly as well.
If you've got a question, R.C. has an answer. July 8, 1998 19 out of 22 found this review helpful
R.C. Sproul handles some hard to answer questions with intellect and eloquence. After reading "Reasons to Believe" you will be able answer the questions people have about the christian faith. This book is for the believer and the unbeliever.
