Great Book for any Mom! April 20, 2005 I found this book to be very helpful. I would recommend it for any Mom with young children.
This book gives your practical tools for meeting your child's 5 basic needs of love. I found it easy to read with great examples and ideas to use with my own children.
A Great Read!
Best Parenting Guide for the Christian Parent February 24, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I only wish I had this book available thirty years ago. Haven't you ever wished that a child came with a direction manual? This is it! It is truly a guide to help parents maximize the quality of time they spend with their children. The exercises will gently impact your children's, grandchildren's lives with christian principals that will last a life time. Makes a wonderful gift for new parents. A must have reference book.
A Good Resource November 3, 2001 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
As an avid reader, I find this book more of a resource than a "sit and read". Each chapter (and hence topic) provides a list of books that delve more deeply into the area presented. The Christian foundation for this book is evident throughout. It works well with its companion "What Every Mom Needs".
